Welcome to Umamin, an open-source social platform where users can send and receive encrypted anonymous messages. By using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Account Registration
- Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use Umamin. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are eligible.
- Account Information: When creating an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account.
3. User Content
- Notes and Messages: You can add notes that others can see and send anonymous notes where your username and information are hidden. All messages sent and received are encrypted.
- Profile Information: Each user has a profile with a display name, username, profile picture, and bio. Others can send you anonymous messages.
4. Acceptable Use
- Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use Umamin for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the platform or its users. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Posting or sending content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive.
- Harassing or bullying other users.
- Attempting to hack or gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.
5. Privacy
- Data Collection: We collect and use your data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using Umamin, you consent to such collection and use.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data through the settings.
6. Intellectual Property
- Ownership: Umamin and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Omsimos and its licensors. The platform is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Philippines and foreign countries.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- Use at Your Own Risk: Your use of Umamin is at your sole risk. The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
- No Warranty: We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Omsimos, its affiliates, or its licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of Umamin.
